Colonel NICHOLAS E. DELCOUR Colonel Nicholas E. Delcour serves as the Vice Wing Commander, 521st Air Mobility Operations Wing, headquartered on Ramstein Air Base, Germany. The Wing consists of two Air Mobility Operations Groups (AMOG) the 721st AMOG at Ramstein Air Base, Germany, and the 521st AMOG at Naval Air Station Rota, Spain. The Wing provides all Command and Control, en route maintenance support, and air transportation services for theater and strategic air mobility missions in Europe, Africa, and Southwest Asia. Colonel Delcour received his commission from the University of Missouri-Rolla in 1999 through the Reserve Officer Training Corps with a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and a minor in Mathematics. During previous staff assignments at Headquarters, United States Strategic Command, he served as a Branch Chief for Operations Planning, a Section Chief in Non-kinetic Operations, and Executive Officer to the Director, Global Operations. Prior to his current assignment, Colonel Delcour was Chief of Mobility Air Forces Division, Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations, Headquarters Air Force. Colonel Delcour is a command pilot with over 4,750 hours in the E-11A, C-17A, C-5A/B/C, T-1, and T-37.
